I'm currently working on one of those super secretive projects that involve numerous NDAs and vows of silence until the project goes live. Treat this as a placeholder for a huge announcement, and an assurance that I'm not unemployed.

MFA Thesis - Toward Remission

2005 - 06 . concept  interaction  development

This is my graduate thesis project, and by far, the most enjoyable learning experience of my life. Conceived and developed over 18 months, the project is an interactive visualization that examines human presence in the context of Earth as a living system. It forces the audience to wrestle with issues of behavior, consequence and sustainable co-existence.

FourthWall

2006 . concept  interaction  development

This was an interactive wall designed and built for Second Stage Theatre. I worked as part of a student team to visualize and present a timeline of the theatre's productions in a physical space where patrons could interact with it. The timeline could also be accessed from kiosks at different locations within the theatre.

ImagePaint

2004 . concept

ImagePaint was conceived as a plugin for Adobe Illustrator to create dynamic collages using images from the Internet. Paths or shapes within Illustrator would be tagged with keywords. The plugin would source images based on those keywords and populate the corresponding wireframes. The size, shape, orientation and placement of the images would be controlled by the algorithm selected. The resulting collage could also be set to refresh periodically.

Title Sequences

2005 . concept  production  print

I designed the opening and closing title sequences for the movie Patch Adams as part of a re-design assignment at Parsons. As it turned out, my storyboard sketches felt more appropriate than the live action footage I'd shot, and I ended up using them in the sequence.
